Aussie Active Desks Pty Ltd is the epitome of a Queensland business which puts Queenslanders first by sourcing its supplies and services locally and supporting Queensland communities.
It is owned and operated by a Queensland family who began the business in 2016 while living in the regional town of Dalby and now manage the business from the Sunshine Coast at a showroom in Bells Creek. Aussie Active Desks provide Queensland Primary and Secondary schools with an innovative strategy to incorporate more movement during the school day to support students’ learning and wellbeing and address issues of physical inactivity. Aussie Active Desks has provided desks to over 30 Queensland schools which report terrific learning and wellbeing outcomes for students.
Aussie Active Desks sources its ingredients predominantly from Australia which is reflected in its Australian Made Campaign license (Number 9971) including Laminex decor wood board for desktops from Gympie, QLD. The only part of the desk sourced elsewhere is the indexing plunger from Germany, however Aussie Active Desks purchases this component from a Queensland wholesaler called Oceania Industrial Components.
